PROPHETESS LATISHA MANU 1st Lady
1st Lady, Prophetess Latisha Manu, is an anointed woman of God, loving wife and devoted mother of three, Phillip, Michelle, and Jeremiah. She is a native of Mount Vernon, Texas. After graduating she moved to Tyler, Texas to attend a trade school and achieved a certificate in Professional Computers. While in Tyler, she walked in a season of drug use and abuse. After living through the experience of almost having a fatal drug overdose she moved to Dallas, Texas with a mindset to change.
Although she was raised in church, it was only after witnessing a celebration of life that she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. On the day of the funeral, she thought she was going to show her condolences to the family of a 28-year-old young lady but what she found was a life being celebrated. Leaving puzzled and desiring a deeper relationship with the one who created and celebrated life, she attended the same church the next day for Sunday morning service. The sermon included an actual door on the stage that she was invited to walk through to accept Christ into her life! The walk through the door brought her into divine destiny. Excited and ready to serve God, she had a desire to run for Christ with her whole heart with no turning back to her old life.
Joining together in 2004 with her husband Senior Apostle Frank Manu, she co-founded Word of Peace International Ministry, Inc. God has given her the ability to reach out to lost souls all over Dallas/ Ft. Worth and the surrounding areas. With a deep desire to serve God’s people, she soon realized that it takes being self-less to be a strong witness for Christ, an assignment that God called her to. It is her passion for life to see families changed as they come to know the Creator. She has been chosen by God to do greater works for him, as the bible states “…for many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)
After realizing that education plays an important role in society, she enrolled in college in the pursuit of a degree in Business Management.
1st Lady Latisha is an entrepreneur and owner of two businesses. She is proud to have the freedom to whole-heartedly pursue her passion and love for God’s people. Her life-long goal is to share what she has and to be a blessing in someone else’s life.
